PLAY BOT.

Terms of use

Last updated 5 October 2026

These terms apply when you play with Play Bot in a WhatsApp group or use the Play Bot dashboard. By doing either, you agree to them. Play Bot is run by Ayomide Samuel, in Nigeria ("we"). How we handle personal data is explained in the privacy notice.

1. What Play Bot is

Play Bot runs word games, scores, streaks and leaderboards in WhatsApp groups, with a dashboard for the group's admins. It's free.

Play Bot is not made, endorsed or supported by WhatsApp or Meta. It connects to WhatsApp through a linked device, like WhatsApp on a computer. WhatsApp could limit or block this at any time, so Play Bot may stop working in your group without notice.

2. Who can use it

3. For group admins

If you add Play Bot to a group or run a community on the dashboard, you agree to:

Ownership of a community moves only by transfer on the dashboard. Whoever owns the community is responsible for how its staff use Play Bot.

Custom quizzes. A community owner can write their own questions and add pictures. The owner is responsible for that content and must have the right to share it. Don't use sexual, violent, hateful or illegal material; pictures of children; or pictures of people who haven't agreed to them being shared. Players can report a question with !report. We may take down any custom quiz that breaks these terms, and suspend the community.

4. Playing fair

You agree not to:

Community admins may correct scores and ban players from games. We may do the same, and may suspend communities that break these terms.

5. Prizes and money

Play Bot has no prizes and no payments. If a community offers prizes, that's between the community and its members. Play Bot isn't responsible for them. Play Bot must not be used for betting or gambling.

6. The service is provided as it is

Play Bot is a free service provided "as is". We work to keep it running and scores accurate, but can't promise it will always be available, error-free or kept forever. Games can be interrupted, for example by connection problems, and we may change or stop features.

As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by WhatsApp, third-party services, or how others use Play Bot. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Nigerian consumer or data protection law that can't be limited.

7. Ending

You can stop at any time: leave the group, use !forget, or ask its admins to remove Play Bot. Admins can remove Play Bot from their group, and community owners can archive their community from the dashboard. We may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms.

8. Changes and the law

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we'll tell community admins on the dashboard about significant changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
